Star is a spayed 2yo female pit bull mix. Star's prior family reached out to the rescue to ask for our help in rehoming her.  She was born with a spinal issue causing her not to feel her legs, yet she can still walk.  The neurologist said it is a miracle that she can walk, so we are hoping her mobility continues.  She is currently with a foster family who is working on strengthening her legs and back by using her wheelchair and running shoes for her back paws. She zooms around on her wheels like a champ while chasing balls and enjoying morning and evening walks.  She can be timid at times, but once she warms up to you she is a cuddle bug. She also loves other doggies, big and small and currently has a cute wiggle-butt fur sister.
