The Founder

Janine founded Pibbles and Fam Bam in 2017 and brings over 20 years of experience rescuing herding and pit bull mixes. She specializes in rescuing seniors, medical and special needs, and abused and neglected dogs. Most of her experience came from personally rescuing16 dogs from kill shelters or rescues. She rehabilitated her own rescues by partnering with local trainers and specialized vets, learning first-hand how to help her dogs build trust again with humans. Also, Janine regularly visits with other rescues, shelters, and specialized vets to continue networking and deepening her growth and understanding of the needs across the rescue community.
